I love how this story sets up for a pretty simple comedic twist, but then over-delivers on the punchline. Well done, Michael!

I’d been here innumerable times. A genuine Sisyphean nightmare. Still, ever a slave to destiny, I stepped from my accursed box and threw the dagger. It was instinct now.
My aim improved constantly, but I never had time. The universe is no stranger to irony.
