The Summer of Sweet Mary

I narrowed this month’s options down to the stories from Jim Doss and Bob Thurber and left them up on my computer screen for a full two days while I debated the merits of each. Sorry for the delay that caused in making this announcement! :) Ultimately, I chose Bob’s story for its accessibility, and the trademark Thurber ability to express something inexpressible.
