I killed my husband Victor for the insurance money.
Yes, it sounds wretched. But it was all his idea.
“It’s the only way to fund our trip around the world.”
On our last evening in Namibia, I pushed Victor off the overlook as he beheld the grand finale of colors.
Giulietta Nardone enjoys writing, painting and singing in Massachusetts where she lives in a drafty old house with her husband and two curious cats.
This could be a Netflix movie! Brilliant.
Carolyn, thank you! I like this idea …
Oh so wicked 😘
Thank you Nancy!
Loved it! Very clever
Julie, appreciate the read! Happy you enjoyed it.
Hopefully Victor had a good view on the way down, as it would be his last one.
Always a great read Jules !!!
Mary, thank you! His last view was the best one of the trip …
What an ending to a short but beautiful adventure. I couldn’t help but try to imagine what Victor’s grand finale of color looked like – since I’ve never been to Namibia. Seems Namibia is a land of neverending color!

Dark confessional. Bittersweet ending to the “journey of life.” I wonder what other places that they have seen.
Thank you so much Pauline! Hmm. Maybe there is a journal…
Thank you for the fantasy all of us who can no longer afford to travel have at times.
