Captain Whiskers, the famous kitty pirate, cocked her head as her tail swept against the deck. The mast of her ship, the Fuzzy Wave, had been whittled down and snapped, stranding them at sea. She regretted her decision to allow the crew to use the mast as a scratching post.

“Please don’t kill me,” the young man begged.
“Give me one reason not to run you through,” the pirate croaked.
“True love.”
“Well alright, then. You’re free to go.”

Waiting in line, Fangtooth Redbeard stretched and his hook accidentally poked the plump woman next to him.
“Arrgh, me wench,” he said, “I beseech ye pardon.”
She tightly gripped her Tupperware container and frowned.
“Sir,” she said, “I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place. This is a Pie Rating contest.”
