He came again this afternoon, floated right down into the garden. I waited by the back door with my net but he was too quick, escaping under a hum of rotator blades and flashing lights.
The boy’s quite the pilot.
Next time we’ll see how he fares against my rifle.

“They’re at it again.”
“Well, what do you want me to do about it?”
“Go out there and stop them. It’s bad enough they trespass onto our property. Now they’re starting to steal from us. I don’t know how much more I can take.”
“Honey, calm down, they’re just squirrels.”

A mouse lived inside my walls. I tried to feed it cheese and peanut butter and other tasty things.
“I cannot take your gifts, sir,” it said. “I am afraid you will trap me!”
I convinced it I wouldn’t. We became friends.
