Kraig drove off the lot with the fastest street-legal sports car available, the Chevrolexus Landjet XII, and he felt good about it.
His wife wasn’t quite so enthusiastic.
The problem wasn’t that it was unsafe or expensive: it was just impractical, in 2049, to drive a car on the ground.
for some reason, i loved this one. the way kraig felt about driving the sports car was boyish, and it’s kinda nice to know how people can still appreciate outdated things. shows that our roots will not go forgotten.
however… it must be said: impractical to drive cars on the ground by 2049? i doubt it. :)
