Before blacking out
I saw the school bus’s underside,
heard my car’s roof peel
from the door posts,
easy as a sardine can’s lid, much quicker.
I hunched low to the floor as possible,
but Delia didn’t think to.
I couldn’t look,
only thought
how many kids on there?
Blacked.

Very powerful!
Very nicely written. I had no idea one could publish “Flash Fiction”.
There are no other 50-word story markets that I know of, but there are lots of flash fiction websites and magazines. There are even some markets that pay for flash fiction, if you can find them! :)
