Some form of dementia has stolen her brilliant mind
But has kindly left her beautiful soul.
From a hospital bed finally she knows no limits.
All worries, self-doubts have vanished,
Layers of life’s woes stripped away.
Her eyes filled with love, she sings and is happy.
Her truest self, revealed?
Lisa Lysen is having fun exploring her passion for words, hoping an adventure in writing may be somewhere in her future.
Beautiful message- presented so well.
Thank you. Surprisingly when this was posted, 2 days ago, we had no hint of what was to come. This morning my beautiful mama, one of my dearest friends, passed. I’m so thankful to “50 Words” for making my story public, especially today. She was a blessing in every way.
This beautiful Lisa I’m so sorry to hear of your Moms passing
Thank you, Dawn.
Very sorry to hear that, Lisa. Sending prayers your way.
Thank you for your prayers and your kindness. They both mean so much.
Someone told me when my mom died that I could at least be happy she was finally cured of her Alzheimer’s. Yeah, but…
Losing a loved one is never easy, no matter what the circumstances although sometimes well meaning thoughts just don’t come out right in the right words. I’m sorry for your loss, too.
Wow Lisa made me cry knowing the gentle tiny soul who was your lovely mum
She was a gentle lovely woman, Penny. Thank you XO
Today in a private ceremony we said good bye to the greatest woman I’ve ever known. I’ll always love you Mom! XO
