When doing the math,
some oddities aren’t even.
Things might not add up
in spite of calculations
on fingers or phones.
When trying over again,
you’ll find differences
multiplying your problems
while seeking quotients
produces new divisions
totaling your sums.

You’ve put into words what I thought about math all through school!
Sorry for the late reply, Kelsey. A lot of math (well, lots of fingers counting fives and sevens) went into this project. I triple-checked the math and think I got it right.
