The book leaves the shop, ready for its new home. Once there, it is nestled with care among other pristine titles.
“Welcome,” says the novel to its left.
The book is confused. “Wait, aren’t I supposed to be read before I’m put on the shelf?”
The shelves ring with laughter.

This made me laugh too.
Absolutely brilliant!!!!
I doubt if the buyer would even understand the depth of this amazing message.
My husband is an Antiquarian book dealer and I love this one.
I am still chuckling. Thank you.

Made me want more of it!
So relatable.
I kept looking for more TBR lol
I know all too well how a book can sometimes stare at you from the shelf, & if/when you step closer to approach.. The chatter among them – “Pick me!” The wonder & excitement flutters! Oh this one & that one “Look at me! See what I have! What about ME !!! Pick me up! Check me out!! Read MEE!!”
It’s overwhelming yet bliss to look forward to.
Namaste! Salute!! 🥂 Books are everything!
