MERE 50 WORDS: “Beneath Large Scallop Shells” by King Kool

“You find me attractive?” The mermaid asked the derelict sailor.

“Absolutely.” He nodded. “Don’t you agree?”

She frowned. “No merman did.”

It seemed impossible. “Why?” he asked.

“My figure,” she said. “I’m not streamlined.”

“Is that why humans only ever see mermaids with curvaceous figures?”

“We go where we’re appreciated.”

  1. 50 WORD STORY ‘UFO IN LEESBURG FLORIDA’ BY RAY CATES
The spaceship put me down in Leesburg Florida. Somehow I was wearing my bathrobe and slippers.

Twenty five people were gathered around the spaceship when it blasted off.

When all the kids got on the school bus you took me home to get your husbands pants.

    And much much more.
