Nettled, Penny acquiesced.
Once there, the monkey grew bored. It leapt from her lap, chattered towards the podium. Before a janitor could be summoned, the monkey had explained evolution.
Penny was expelled. But the monkey got tenure.

CB – I gave you 4 stars. I thought the parenthetical aside a bit distracting; it works well without the punctuation. And I was curious why a janitor was summoned instead of security. But a neat tale in 50 words with some action and humor that wasn’t a rim shot. Jeff
