Lemon Zest Cookies

It was very important to Monika that she raise her children right. She taught them Kindness, and Hospitality, and Manners, and Decency.

The Field of Forgotten Dreams

The cute little bunnies hopped along in a row, following their mommy.

“Stick close!” she called. “It’s just up ahead.”

They rounded a tree, and there, spread out before them, was a beautiful grassy meadow.

“Here we are!” said mommy bunny.

Suddenly, a punchline happened!

It was absolutely, incredibly hilarious.

The Luxuriant Life

“Finally!” complained Fluffy the cat in the softly exasperated voice of a young mother. “The kittens are down for nap time. All they ever do is eat, sleep, and whine!”

Mittens, her husband, mewed appreciatively. “What should we do with our free time?”

“Grab a snack and get some shuteye.”

Bambi

Sunlight crept over the misty vale.

A small, spotted fawn nuzzled its motionless mother. “Get up, mother!” it said, its tremulous voice full of worry as tears fell from its wide, innocent eyes. “Get up!”

“Shut up, Bambi,” said mother. “It’s, like, six o’clock… Can’t a doe get any rest?”
